I just want to say a massive thank you to this family owned garage. Andy the owner is called, helped me at very short notice. I am completely dependant on my car for work and after my car was taken to his garage he made me a priority and had me up and running before the days end. Everything was explained they even went above and beyond the call of duty and went to my daughters work, he didnt have to do this but both he and wife seem to care and appreciated my predicament. This is definately my garage of choice. If you want the personal touch with quality workmanship use AJL mechanics. Thanks Guys
Very friendly people. Went in because we had a small issue with the clutch of our car. They gave us honest advice on what best to do. We decided to not have the small issue fixed because it was not worth it due to the age of the car.
Honest and reliable, are words very rarely used these days. But these are my sentiments when using this company .I've been using AJL for several years now and have always received a 5 star service.They go above and beyond in ensuring that all work carried out on your vehicle is done to a high spec and keep you informed of all work that needs to be carried out and the cost. I have been using AJL for various vehicles whilst working out in Spain. Andy and his team endeavour to produce excellent service at a reasonable price. I would advise anyone wishing to have work done on their vehicle to STEER CLEAR of this company. While in Spain I paid 963.67 to have my suspension repaired. Andy, the owner of the garage, told me I would have to have new caps, new springs and new shock absorbers on both sides to remedy the problem. The day after he carried out this work I went back and said there was a rattle and a large metal disc had appeared on the floor of the cab of the motorhome. When I spoke to Andy he said that was nothing to do with the work they had done and the vehicle was perfectly safe to drive. When we returned to the UK I took it into my local garage who discovered the metal disc was part of the suspension assembly and that it had catastrophically failed and informed me the parts that had been fitted in Spain were not genuine Fiat parts and commented there are a lot of fake/counterfeit/pattern parts being fitted to vehicles without the owners knowledge. I have now paid just short of 1,000 to have these parts all replaced with Fiat original parts. I was told by Andy that they would cover the cost of all the work that had to be done to remedy the situation. Since having the work done I have tried to contact Andy on a number of occasions and he is refusing to answer my calls or emails. STEER CLEAR of this man he's not what he seems, unfortunately you can't leave a minus rating as far as the stars are concerned. He seems to rely on the fact that holidaymakers are too far away by the time they find the problem.
